Is MMM really wrong ?

I have never been a fan of network marketing or its likes.. so whenever people start telling me about it i don’t even listen
I haven’t even bothered to consider MMM or likes of it… I have at one point considered investing in litecoin mining..
A variant has become popular these days.. a computer trades for you and you just keep making profit…
A friend once tried to explain it to me, but i refused to listen my point being..
How can you just be making profit and it is just increasing and you will never lose… nope i don’t agree..
I have always believed in money being an exchange for value.. you create value you get money…
but i think that while this is what we are majorly taught… this is not majorly the case.
As Christians we pray and believe God for what we didn’t work for.
We have big dreams and know theres no way we can get there on our own, and God finds a way to get us there.
We are people of faith, and end up getting what we don’t deserve and didn’t work for.
So in that sense we are safe in our conscience, but when it comes to things like MMM
We go back to the ideology of you didn’t work for it why should you have it…I do this, so I’m not exempted.
But what I actually I’m considering is that…
The current financial system that we have was created by someone or a set of people, it has been undergoing refining over the years.
but is this financial system in the bible?
the current system is,
if i have money i want to save.. put it in the bank..
the bank will use it to do business, or give it to someone else, and at the end of the day they gimme a lil incentive to keep putting money called interest…
and keep the bulk of the profit from the business or from the person they leant it to
#smart
whoever created this is a genius .. hehe
Very cool business model.
but can our mindset of seeing money be different ?
for example..
in Kenya banks are becoming obsolete.. thanks to mobile money… MPESA: instead of putting your money in one bank.. carry it on your phone and do whatever you want to do.. Incredibly disruptive… has never been seen anywhere in the world before… Africa’s invention.. can and will only work here
As a matter of fact, it is said that if financial systems where to be created from scratch in this generation because of technology there will be no more printing of paper and banks will not exist in their current structure.
Alas guess what else technology can afford us todo, SHARE
We are in the dawn of the “SHARING ECONOMY” this is totally disrupting the way we used to live in the past. I’m sure we have all heard of Uber,
One of the fastest growing companies in the world. Founded in 2009, as of September 2015 they were in 60 countries and 300 cities worldwide, valued at $50bn. As of August 2016, the service was available in over 66 countries and 507 cities worldwide, valued at $66bn.
What is it built on? sharing economy… the power of the mass consumer Create a market place and allow consumers to server consumers. It’s faster ! theres more supply to match demand.
It has been said that it will so disrupt the world. We are seeing Airbnb disrupt the hostels business just like Uber disrupted the transportation.
But anyway, Im wondering
so what if instead of putting my money in the bank,
I donate it to someone and when I want money someone gives me what I want?
Now I don’t even mean MMM,
but can money work differently ?
Is it really hard work that brings money ?
Do you work harder that the truck pusher ?
Must we give value to get money ?
So I’m starting to think plenty things, the Spirit leading ofcos.
But what if in the next couple of years, technology has enabled another financial system to be created.
Where systems like MMM are what we are used to.
