Hello World

I’ve always wanted to find more time to write.

For years, the intention was there — ideas piling up, thoughts worth sharing, lessons learned the hard way. But work had other plans. Running a company means endless admin, fires to put out, and a calendar that fills itself before you can blink.

Writing always got pushed to “someday.”

The Dawn of Agents

That changed with AI agents.

I now have a small crew of AI assistants — Ada, Spock, and Scotty — that handle the operational overhead. Research gets done. Emails get drafted. Tasks get tracked. The cognitive load that used to consume my bandwidth? Largely automated.

It’s not about replacing human work. It’s about reclaiming time for the work that matters.

This Website

Case in point: this website.

Setting up henrymascot.com took me a fraction of what it would have taken a year ago. I described what I wanted via Telegram messages to Scotty (my builder agent), and he scaffolded the entire site — Astro, Tailwind, content collections, the works.

Importing 95 articles from Medium? Handled. Downloading 200+ images that Medium’s CDN was blocking? Figured out with the right headers and rate limiting. Matching Dave Kiss’s design aesthetic? Iterative feedback until it felt right.

All while I was doing other things.

What’s Next

I’m finally going to write more.

Not because I suddenly have more hours in the day, but because the friction is gone. The admin is handled. The infrastructure exists.

This is just the beginning.
