I am not an economist nor did I pay too much attention during my economics classes back in secondary school. But in my pursuit of knowledge, this is one of the subjects I will immerse myself into in the coming years. How else will I be able to create galactic scale enterprises that will span millennia 🙂 This is a good read about a few predictions of Karl Marx about capitalism that came through.

Romantic love and relationships are fundamental to our current society. Albeit its biological roots, its expression is modern. It didn’t use to be a prerequisite for marriage for our grandparents but it kind of is for us now. Most people don’t understand what it is though, I try not to be most people. You shouldn’t too.

I like smart people books this is one of them. Sam makes a case for spirituality with science. Arguing that spirituality is not something that must be synonymous with religion. To be honest I have long stopped identifying as religious yet spiritual. Let’s not get into what I think the definition of spirituality is. But Sam Harris totally comes at it from a different perspective, including an argument about what actually human consciousness is.
